How it all started…
The foundation of felilu was rather fate than coincidence: The source of inspiration goes back to the birth of my first child.
As a tradition, I remember my mother handing me over the „family bassinet“. It struck me right away: The bassinet was quite conventional, but not really cozy. However, soon I got a present from my cousin, a master dressmaker: It was a ‚new outfit‘ for the good old bassinet: I was immediately on fire and delighted by the transformation when I saw the „new“ bed that reminded me of fairy-tales.
The very first product
My little princess grew older and so I needed more and more equipment for our baby life. This was when I got the idea to design a special bag for all important items like nappies, wipes, changing essentials etc. – my first product was born! Encouraged by exchanging ideas with other young mothers among my friends I developed more and more product ideas: This was the launch of felilu as a brand.

P.S.: The brand itself I named after my biggest inspiration: Felilu is the nickname of my lovely daughter.
Know-how, uniqueness and attention to detail.
The professional know-how of my cousin as a mastertailor and my everyday baby life experience offered a perfect basis for creating more and more new products – at that time the excitement about felilu already had gone far beyond friends and family.
Right from the start it was important for us to hold true to our values: uniqueness and attention to detail. In the meantime my second cousin has also become part of the felilu team giving us support with tailoring.
